If bi-directional communication is required, a second board can be added to connect the microcontroller's TX line to the RX line of 16 devices. By using multiple boards, you can create similar configurations for I2C, SPI, and so on.
The internal switch is bi-directional, supporting the voltage between ground and VCC, with low on-resistance and low-turn-off leakage, and to prevent crosstalk, perform a""break-before-make""switch.
The board also emits the chip's""enable""pin, which will completely disconnect the common pin (all switches""off"") when the pin is high.
